Once again, we would like to thank all participants in the GT3 Europe and Asia championships who took part this weekend. We are pleased to see that driving standards are improving, however there continues to be some need to develop further.
We have updated the Rules section for the league and expect all competitors to be familiar with these updates. We have also detailed cases in which penalties will be apllied, and what those penalties are. This should help everyone to understand how we have been deciding on penalties so far, and provide greater consistency going forward.
Stewards have reviewed all racing incidents reported to them in the official Discord channel.
We remind all drivers involved that this league is all about the community. To that end, we generally want drivers to apologise to each other rather than just distribute harsh penalties. We will certainly look favourably upon drivers who engage in respectful dialogue with each other after the race and take this into account when considering actions to take.
We have tried to be fair, impartial and consistent in our judgements. Driver Stewards Simon Marshall and Pol Faustino were involved in the decision making process. Some penalties will affect race results and standings.
